Hi! My favorite piece is the very rad leather motorcycle trench. This piece could ride with me from fall and zigzag right through to spring. In the fall, I'd wear it with a hot pink and gold sweater knit mini dress that has geometric shapes outlined in black. I'd pair it with my ACB by Annie Costello Brown black leather asymmetrical earrings from Shopbop and black thigh high boots. I'd wear my hair in a high messy bun with runaway wavy pieces. In the winter, I'd bundle up in the trench with a white chunky sweater that has flecks of silver and my Siwy Sophie skinny jeans from Shopbop. I'd top off the look with crimped hair and a neon yellow fedora with a kelly green leather bow tied around it. I'd also wear it with white leather studded ankle booties. And then in the spring, I'd use this trench to shield me from the cool breeze over my white Sauce bow tank from Shopbop with my leopard print sequin hotpants and my Tory Burch black Nappa Leather Reva Flats (also from Shopbop). I'd wear my hair in a low side braid to balance the severe shortness of the hotpants and to match the sweetness of the flats. This trench is such a versatile piece with limitless style opportunities. It'd be my favorite wingwoman during my advertising meetings (conference rooms can be chilly!), into the early evenings at happy hours, and even into the wee hours during rooftop parties. I could wear it to brunch on the weekends or out to dinner with my boyfriend's family. It's a statement piece without trying too hard. It's that old friend you keep revisiting because she makes you smile without having to say a word. You just know she'll always be there for you- to keep you warm, to make you stand out, to ultimately make you feel good about the way you look. :)

Dear Jillian I like several pieces but I think I'd choose the tunic minidress and why? Because a black dress is always a perfect election. It's an essential basic. You'll be always in and everything is perfect to match with.

xoxo!

J'adore the little black leather dress - sexy, sassy, classic, chic, little agressive but very feminine, perfect lenght - with over-the-knee boots, red lips and something studded. it's only rock and roll but we like it.

Hi lovey! Fabulous giveaway! Jenni Kayne is an amazing designer.

LOVE the High Waisted Trousers! I wear skinny jeans and pants all the time so these trousers would be a great way to change up my look. They're versatile enough that I can wear them at anytime -- to work and on the weekends! Here are a few ways I'd style them:

- For work, pair them with a cropped blazer or leather jacket
- Tuck in an oversized/loose-fitting off the shoulder sweater
- Wear a casual white tank and beanie hat
- Roll them up and wear lace tights underneath with a killer pair of heels
- Tuck them into my knee-high boots

Thanks again! :)

xo, Becs

hey loooooves.

they are all fabulous.
but number 1 pick + something i do not have and do not have the guts to buy would be: the leather trousers.

- they are just so parisian chic but have a distinct edgy feel to them. they are hardcore- yet soft; masculine yet feminine. ALSO because of their shape they are classic and boy do i ever love my classics.
- i would wear/pair them with heaps and heaps- first off a classic striped shirt
-second a really awesome/cool vintage military blouse with ysl tributes. yes please!
- i would also wear them with a classic black blazer/tuxedo jacket with a crisp collared shirt beneath. masculine chic.

oh boy to be honest- i would try to pair them with everything i own, because i think if i had them i would instantly fall in love with them !!!

3 cheers to jenni kayne.

ps- her spring 2010 showcase was amazing!

Oh, I love the Jenni Kayne Open Toe Pleat Booties. They're so exquisite and detailed--like a miniature piece of sculpture you can wear on your feet!

I love that they go with anything and would make any outfit that much more edgy and polished. No matter how my day has been, these shoes would make me feel like a new woman and full of confidence--and isn't that what fashion is all about?

Where to begin?

The high-waisted trousers are so Annie Hall. As a girl who watches the movie at LEAST once a month, I can totally imagine myself pulling these on and reciting the lines to anyone who will listen, really.

I'm also loving the pleat bustier. Hello sex kitten! It oozes self-confidence and even has a bit of an S&M tinge to it. Meow.

But the absolute ultimate has to be the leather motorcycle trench. You know whom I picture wearing this? Only the most beautiful woman in the world: Angelina Jolie for the win! A classic piece, totally reworked, rethunk and revamped. I would wear this to work with a pencil skirt and a blousy top... over dark trouser jeans with a form-fitting turtleneck, or as the watch-for-it coverup to a slinky, sexy minidress on a night out. The options are endless, really.

definitely the Leather Motorcycle Trench. I would wear it over my vintage slip and garter belt & go see my Secret-Agent-Lover-Man on my awesome motorcycle. We would wear dark shades and drink martinis in a dark back-corner of a speak-easy.

Ok, ok, a gal can dream right?? ;)

hmm. tough decisions! i think my pick would be the motorcycle trench. we've been seeing so much of the short leather jackets that it's refreshing to see a long, trench styled one.

in this dreamworld where i owned this lovely garment, i would pair it with my vintage cream colored lace high neck mini dress, opaque black tights, and my michel perry suede ankle boots!

i luv jenni kayne! i have her 'rolled jumper' in black which i super love i used to wear it practically every time i go out until i got so embarrassed cos i'd wear the same thing in all my friends' facebook photos! haha

anyway, for this particular collection, i'd go for the pleated bustier, hands down! i have this strange fascination with *corsets*, perhaps because of the instant boob boost it gives me. lol. and i can only think of a million ways to wear the bustier.

i'd wear it with a short skirt (you know, the 'balloon' type) and pair it with flats if im going a bit casual, or with my peep toe ankle booties for a more funky look. i'm also thinking the bustier would be great as well with shorts (denim during the day, or with my alice + olivia leather cuff shorts if im going to a dinner or go clubbing, perhaps. of course, how can i forget my ever-reliable skinny pants? im sure they (the bustier and the skinny, that is) would get along pretty well!

well, i could possibly go a little more hippie by pairing it with this: http://www.shopbop.com/sequin-sweatpants-haute-hippie/vp/v=1/845524441856083.htm?folderID=2534374302024611&fm=other-shopbysize-viewall

and lastly, for a more rad look, i'd pair the bustier with this: http://www.shopbop.com/print-pants-tony-cohen/vp/v=1/845524441853278.htm?folderID=2534374302024611&fm=other-shopbysize-viewall

thanks for the chance to enter the contest, jillian! take care!

I LOVE the pleat bustier. I'd pair with boyfriend jeans and platform sandals, skinny jeans, a blazer and chunky heels, tuxedo pants and booties... the possibilities are endless! I love it.

I love the tunic mini dress! I'd style it with cute patterned or colored tights (either purple or micro fishnets) and booties. I'd belt it (like it is in the photo) and wear a statement necklace. So cute!

:)

Never before have I wanted leather pants so bad. I'm picturing these with nude boots. A soft gray cardigan cut to about mid-hip under a brown fur gilet. And a vintage rocker tee underneath it all. And for everyone that knows me it goes without saying, pile on the silver rings and some chain necklaces.

Love Grace.

ps. thanks for allowing us to participate.

Gorgeous collection! I love the Jenni Kayne Mini Dress. The cut and style is hot and modern, it's chic without being too obvious. I would pair it with the Jenni Kayne Open Toe Pleat Booties, which would be the icing on top of the cake (the very very fashionable cake!). I'd accessorize this gorgeous outfit with the Fiona Paxton Lyon Necklace and the Alexis Bittar Scaled Cuff which would give this outfit some rock-star appeal. I'd top it off with the Lauren Merkin Snake Fringe Clutch. Sexy, hot, and super stylish!

Oh dear lord, there are so many goodies to choose from. I love them all, but if I had to choose what I'd wear over and over again it'd have to be the leather trench. Gorgeous. I'd wear it dressed up with an amazing form fitting dress, down with skinnies, or if I'm feeling scandalous just some hot heels. Oo-la-la! ;-)

this is a hard one. i look at them and in each i something great and wonderful, and i want them all, but since i have to pick only one...i would pick "Pleat Bustier". I`m in love with bustiers and corsets and i find them so elegant and yet sensual. this one is just perfect for boosting up any ordinary outfit. you can wear it under or over a plain white shirt, with plain stone washed jeans, or for some special occasion - skirt or pants.
My dream outfit with this one is with pencil skirt with high waist in pin up style, with high high peep toe platforms, and a sipmle cover on the top - a fur stola...

Ok, Love ShopBop and I love Jenni Kayne"
I like the "Mini Dress" it is so futuristic and bold. I would wear this with leopard platform ankle boots and an over-sized patent leather clutch. Now, I know this seems too bold, but this dress would make me feel like I was the female lead in a James Bond movie. I would strut into to a restaurant and the crowd would go quiet. The dress is perfect for a woman on a mission and taking names!
