ABOUT NOVASTYLE

If you asked me I'd have to tell you, simply, I realized I had no personality. I was a 19 year old, college drop-out, living with my parents in Western New York and was quickly going nowhere. I began to notice when someone would ask, 'What's your favourite colour?', or 'What's your favourite food?' I would scramble to come up with an answer. Who could live like that? So in December 2007 NOVASTYLE was born, and swiftly deleted two weeks later.

Then after a New Year's Eve with people more vapid than myself, I realized I had to change. So in February 2008 NOVASTYLE was re-born! NOVASTYLE began as a personal style blog, too vain for my taste, so it evolved into an inspiration resource focusing on style, art, music and design.

NOVASTYLE has its strongest readership in France, America, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada. With approximately 16,000 - 18,000 monthly visitors. Currently based in Manhattan. NOVASTYLE a member of the LUCKY Magazine Style Collective, super pumped about that! NOVASTYLE has been present at New York Fashion Week for the past seven seasons and will be on its eighth in September 2012. ABOUT MYSELF

My name is Jillian Hobbs I attended Parsons the New School for Design. I am a former Balenciaga intern; A front-end developer; and Currently hold a design position at CREATETHE GROUP in New York.
